Hey, I’m Nathan, the artist and designer behind NSQ Custom Canvas Designs.

Art has always meant more to me than just something nice to look at. For me, creativity has been a release, a way to process thoughts, emotions and everything life throws at you. Like so many people, I’ve had my own challenges with mental health, confidence, direction and identity. There were times I felt overwhelmed and stuck — and creating became the place where I could finally breathe.

NSQ was born from that space.

What started as me experimenting with digital designs slowly grew into something deeply personal. I realised the artwork I was creating wasn’t just “art” — it carried feeling. It reflected real human experiences. And people began to connect with that. They saw themselves in it. That honestly means everything to me.

A big part of NSQ now is creating custom artwork for people.

Pieces with meaning. Pieces with stories behind them.

Sometimes it’s a mental-health inspired design.

Sometimes a memorial piece.

Bringing family members together with multiple photos. 

Sometimes a reminder to keep going.

Sometimes a gift that says what words can’t.

And every single time, I treat it with heart and respect — because I know what it means when art is tied to something real in your life.

I believe art should make you feel something.

Calm. Strength. Hope. Nostalgia. Healing.

Or sometimes just joy and colour.

Every design is created by me from scratch, then printed professionally here in Australia through my trusted print partner. I personally prepare and review each order before printing to make sure it arrives exactly how it should. This isn’t mass-produced artwork. It’s real, intentional, and made with care.
